  • Complete and submit your IFTA application in BC.
  • Pay $300 one-time registration fee if you’re a new IFTA applicant.
  • There is $100 annual renewal fee.
  • You’ll need to have a set of decals at all times.
  • You also stand a chance of having to park your truck until the payments are satisfied.

You are required to report the fuel put into qualified vehicles along with all kilometres travelled by qualified vehicles.

You need to complete the IFTA registration if

  • will be travelling outside of British Columbia, and have a qualified motor vehicle
  • have never had an British Columbia IFTA licence or it has been 4 years or more since you had an British Columbia IFTA licence
  • amalgamated and the successor corporation requires an IFTA licence
